OQQ Womens 2 Piece Shirts Long Sleeve Crew Neck Review

I wear an XL in the viral OQQ long sleeve shirts. Thick shapewear-feel fabric, side ruching, not see-through, but shorter than I normally wear.

The OQQ Womens 2 Piece Shirts Long Sleeve Crew Neck is worth buying if you want the snatched look of a bodysuit without a snap crotch. I wear an XL, the ribbed fabric feels like shapewear, and it isn’t see-through. Skip it if you need a longer hem.

Quick Verdict

I don’t love a bodysuit, so when OQQ released it as just the shirt, I ordered it. I own five colors now, and the red one steps up any game.

Buy if you:

  • Like the snatched bodysuit look but hate a snap crotch
  • Want something you can throw on with jeans or sweats and feel good
  • Are a flat tushy girl who can’t do thong bodysuits
  • Run cold and layer long sleeves into spring

The Snap Crotch Was the Dealbreaker

The snap crotch on the original OQQ bodysuit drove me away from bodysuits entirely. I wore the OQQ bodysuits every single day through fall and into winter, and they’re actually really warm. But I don’t love a bodysuit. So when the OQQ Womens 2 Piece Shirts Long Sleeve Crew Neck showed up as just the shirt, I was like, hmm, okay. No snap crotch, totally open tee.

I’m holding the red in the video, but I’m wearing the taupe. Extra large. Pretty fitted. The material feels a little bit like shapewear, really thick and stretchy, and I felt tucked in even without tucking anything in. Which is the whole trick of these.

It’s Shorter Than I Normally Wear

The hem sits higher than I’d like, and that’s the one thing I’d change. I usually like to come down a little bit lower on the hip. This one stops short, so if you’re used to pulling a long sleeve over your waistband, know that going in.

The other thing: you can still see where my bra is. Not the color through the fabric, just the outline. Fitted rib does that. You cannot see through this, and I proved it on camera by putting the white shirt on over a white bodysuit, but the rib is going to read every band and seam underneath it. Neither of those stopped me from buying it in hot pink, but they’re real.

Five Colors In and Still Reaching For Them

I own this in taupe, red, black, white, and hot pink, and the fabric has held its shape through the bodysuit version being worn daily all fall. That’s the best wear data I have on the fabric: the OQQ knit took a full season of everyday wear as a base layer and still looks snatched. I can guarantee you I’ll be wearing these well into the spring, possibly even the summer, because I am the girl that’s cold.

Shirt vs. the OQQ Bodysuit

The shirt wins on ease, the bodysuit on staying put, that’s the whole comparison. That’s the whole comparison. The only reason I liked the OQQ bodysuits is the full butt, full seat. I am a flat, tushy girl and thong bodysuits are just horrible for somebody like me, so a full-seat bodysuit was the compromise I made.

The shirt removes the compromise entirely. It’s just an easier wear. No undressing to use the bathroom, no snaps, and I still get the smooth line because the fabric does the work. I layered the white shirt right over the bodysuit I had on and even with both, I felt really snatched. The arms are good too, which is where a lot of thick ribbed tops get it wrong and go sausage-tight.

If I’m packing for a weekend, the shirts come. The bodysuit stays home now.

Why Womens Shirts Long Sleeve Searches Keep Landing Here

Amazon has this sitting at #39,958 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry right now against a 90-day average of #89,584, roughly twice the sales velocity it was running a few months ago. That kind of jump in a category this crowded usually means word-of-mouth caught up to the algorithm, which matches what I’m seeing on my feed.

The crowded part of this category is the plain ribbed basic tee, and most of them are thin. What separates this one is the weight of the knit and the side ruching, which is a detail you normally pay a lot more for. Mine came as a two pack, and I saw a couple three packs listed too. I think the three pack was red, black and white, but check the listing because color groupings move around.

What I’d Tell a Friend Who Asked

Buy the red. I am red hair and don’t usually go for a red shirt, but I put it on and was like, yes, ma’am, all day. This is my color.

Leather jacket and the red one and I was genuinely ready to go out, that’s a high bar for a $15-range two-pack basic. It pulled equal weight with jeans, sweats, work pants, and a skirt without re-styling, which is the actual math on whether a multipack earns drawer space.

The short hem is the trade. If you need coverage at the waistband, size up or pick something else. If you want the bodysuit silhouette with none of the bodysuit nonsense, run, don’t walk. I’d grab the two pack in whatever colors you reach for most.

Pros

  • Thick, stretchy fabric that feels like shapewear and holds you in
  • Not see-through, even in white over a white layer
  • Side ruching that looks far more expensive than a basic tee
  • No snap crotch, which makes it a much easier wear than the bodysuit
  • Arms fit well instead of going tight, and the color range is strong

Cons

  • Hem is shorter than I’d normally wear a long sleeve
  • The fitted rib shows your bra outline
  • Pretty fitted overall, so it’s a compressive feel rather than a relaxed one
  • Color groupings vary between the two packs and three packs

What we’d improve

Two things the next version could fix without changing what works:

  • Add a longer-length option, the hem sits higher than most people wear a fitted long sleeve, and a tunic-length version of the same knit would sell itself.
  • Let buyers pick the colors in a multipack, fixed groupings mean getting the red and the hot pink takes more than one order.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you wash these without wrecking the stretch?

Cold wash, and I’d pull it out before the spin cycle finishes so it can air dry flat rather than bunched in a drum. The knit is thick enough that it holds its shape better than thinner ribs I’ve owned, but heat is still the enemy of stretch, and since OQQ lists care per item, check the tag before you assume all five colors are identical.

Can you wear it as a layer under a blazer or cardigan?

Yes, and the slim fit is why it works. There’s no extra bulk at the arms or waist to bunch up inside a sleeve. A leather jacket over the red one was the look I liked most.

Is the Amazon return window the standard one?

Clothing on Amazon generally falls under the standard returns policy, and many apparel listings qualify for free size exchanges. Check the returns line on the product page before you order, since it varies by seller. That matters more here than usual because the fit runs short.

Does the ruching sit at a flattering spot if you’re shorter or taller?

The ruching runs along the sides rather than at one fixed point, so it stretches with you instead of landing in one spot. I’m in an XL and it sat along my waist. On a taller frame the whole shirt reads even shorter, which is the thing to think about.

It loses half a star on the hem length, because a fitted long sleeve this good should come down lower on the hip. Anyone who needs real waistband coverage or hates a visible bra line should pass. A longer-length version of this exact knit would be a five from me.
