The Handle Is the Whole Reason I Keep Using It
I reached for the handle on my first pull and never went back to gripping the cold sleeve. A regular koozie makes you grip the cold part. This one you just pick up and drink from. The shell is rigid, holds its shape, and you can drop a can in with one hand without pinching foam open.
About That “10 Times Cooler” Claim
The “10 times cooler” claim doesn’t survive a thermometer: after two hours, the PHOOZY was roughly 1 degree cooler than a plain neoprene koozie. One degree is technically a win. It is nowhere near the marketing number. Treat this as a better-built koozie, not a cooler replacement.
Worth It, With One Caveat on Timing
The build quality is the easy part to recommend, rigid shell, real handle, nothing flimsy about it. The thermal performance is where it falls short of its own packaging. The one thing I’d flag is the price swing: check the live price first, because it can fluctuate significantly over time. If the handle and the rigid shell are what you’re actually buying it for, it delivers, just check the current price to make sure you’re getting a fair deal.
